ScandCap analyses each owner’s financing options in order to optimize the cost and risk level of the financing. ScandCap will jointly with the owners find an appropriate structure for the financing, which sometimes is a combination of equity and debt (please read more under Debt Advisory).
To achieve an optimal financing it is imperative to understand the company’s financing requirements, provide consistent and accurate information as well as having a professional approach to potential investors.
Once the structure is finalised, ScandCap prepares a detailed investment memorandum. The purpose of the memorandum is to attract a potential investor’s interest while at the same time being objective and highlighting and quantifying the potential risks. Based on size, industry, risk profile and expected return of the investment ScandCap approaches a targeted group of investors for the capital procurement. In this matter, ScandCap benefits from its solid knowledge of investors’ preferences.
ScandCap has strong relationships with Nordic institutional and private investors, Nordic and European banks as wells as private equity funds. ScandCap has in depth knowledge of the requirements of these investors.
